Charles has a special place in his heart for youths and loves to encourage, teach, and inspire them to be their best. His love stems from the tragic loss of his thirteen-year-old son to an unknown heart condition.
His son's short life and loving character led to an incredible change among his schoolmates. His son's life led to scholarships and awards in his honor that continue today. Charles wrote a book about his son entitled Angels Among Us that he shares with school kids when he speaks.
Charles delivers dynamic keynotes for youths, readings from one of his books, and training on how to write and public speaking.

A popular and attention-grabbing true story of a young student who passed away too soon. But it was his brief life and his outstanding character that led students to change their lives for the better.
Charles uses his toastmasters speech training to deliver a powerful and impactful story of tragedy and hope.
The Adventures of Torrell and Kiana
(Elementary Students)
A heart touching real story of Charles' son and daughter who shared a special bond as siblings. Before Torrell's death, he spent many adventurous days with his little sister Kiana.
This book shares some of those exciting times and allows elementary students to become part of the adventures.
